Biography
Chris Powell used to teach Performing Arts. Now she channels her energies into writing. She is a member of Vane Women Writers’ Collective, set up NorthPens, a community writing group based in Weardale, in 2013 and runs the Weardale WordFest book festival. Short fiction is her thing and her award-winning stories have been published in numerous anthologies and magazines and broadcast on BBC Radio 4.
