Originally from Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Judith currently shares her time between Richmond, North Yorkshire and Warkworth in Northumberland. Inspired by history, heritage and life story, her poetry, magazine articles and short stories have been published both online and in print since the 1990s.
Judith completed an M.A. in Creative Writing in 2011 and trained as a coach for creative writers in 2012. Since then she has delivered courses, workshops and creative retreats in a range of community, educational and heritage settings. She has also experimented with fantasy poetry, spiritual writing and writing for wellbeing.
